Let me rewrite it for you.

Hairdresser helps suicidal transsexual, delays her with dye to call police for help

Roseville police were called Saturday afternoon to a local hair salon after a stylist reported a client was having suicidal thoughts.
Turns out, the client was a pre-op transsexual. But that's not why she got the hairdresser's attention.
In the midst of having her hair dyed, she confided to the stylist she was there with a single purpose.
She wanted to look good in her casket.
The customer said she planned to hang herself when she got home.
Distressed, the quick-thinking hairdresser waited until the client was occupied with wet dye covering her hair, and snuck over to a phone to dial police.
She asked officers for help. Cops quickly arrived and interviewed the customer to make sure she was safe to be alone.
The Insider assumes they gave her options for handling depression. Officers left after he assured them she wouldn't harm herself.

That is how you properly report a story involving a transsexual. Or are you bigoted and don't want to do your job, because you disagree.

And where is the follow up? Is she safe, or did she make the obituaries. One Woman's Viewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02543908225961200422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3212150604644768246.post-25905849534461511752011-04-04T08:21:04.788-07:002011-04-04T08:21:04.788-07:00This comment has been removed by the author. One Woman's Viewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02543908225961200422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3212150604644768246.post-91001342250140497422011-04-04T08:02:43.140-07:002011-04-04T08:02:43.140-07:00Please read your AP Style Guide. Conflating the two isn't fact-based reporting. Also, you either ignorantly or purposefully used the incorrect pronouns.
